About the facilityThe Stirling-Rawdon & District Recreation Centre consists of a Hockey Arena, a Curling Club, and a Lions Hall.
Arena First opened in 1977, the Arena has a 190' x 85' ice pad, with a capacity of over 700 people. It hosts ice programming each season from September to April. When the ice is out over the warmer months, a variety of programming is done on the pad, including ball hockey and box lacrosse. The pad is also used during the Flea market in May, and the Fair in August. For rental inquiries, please call us at 613-395-5000, or use the contact for on the "Contact Us" page. Curling Club The Curling Club consists of a 4-sheet curling rink which operates from October to April. The Club also has a heated viewing area, kitchen, and bar. It is run by the Stirling Curling Club. More information can be found here: Stirling Curling Club website Lions Hall The Lions Hall is a large event space that overlooks the Arena. Come Visit UsStirling-Rawdon Township is located in Hastings County, about 20 minutes off Highway 401. We are close both Trenton & Belleville, and one hour from Kingston or Peterborough. Stirling is roughly half way between the major cities of Toronto and Montreal. From the west - Exit the 401 at Trenton and take the Trenton-Frankford Rd. north to Frankford. Turn right at the lights and go over the bridge. Turn left on the Frankford-Stirling Rd. and travel north to Stirling. From the east – Exit the 401 at Belleville and take Hwy 62 north to Foxboro. From Hwy 62 turn left on the Foxboro-Stirling Rd. to travel west and north to Stirling. From the north – From Hwy. 7 at Marmora, turn south on the Stirling-Marmora Rd. From Hwy. 62, turn right on the Ridge Rd. and follow it west to Stirling. |
Arena Board
The Stirling-Rawdon & District Recreation Centre is run by the Arena Board. This board is made up of members from the four municipalities that provide funding to the Stirling-Rawdon & District Recreation Centre. These municipalities are The Township of Stirling-Rawdon, The City of Quinte West, The Municipality of Centre Hastings, and The City of Belleville. The current Stirling-Rawdon & District Recreation Centre Arena Board is comprised of the following members:
